Fondazione Sodalitas Takes Action for the European Diversity Month

 
 

Fondazione Sodalitas represents the Italian delegation of the EU Platform of Diversity Charters and promotes the Italian Charter for Equal Opportunities and Equality at Work in Italy. Due to its representative role, Fondazione Sodalitas is involved in different initiatives aimed at promoting D&I.

On 29 April 2022, Fondazione Sodalitas represented Italy at the opening event of the European Diversity Month. Deploy your Talents: relaunching STEM subjects by overcoming gender stereotypes

The closing event and the award ceremony of the 9th Italian edition of Deploy your Talents will be held on 9th May. The project, created by CSR Europe and developed in Italy by Fondazione Sodalitas, is aimed at relaunching STEM subjects by overcoming gender stereotypes. At the ceremony, participating schools will present their performance through videos based on what they learned during the project and on the Agenda 2030’s SDGs. The videos will be selected and evaluated by a jury of experts. Find out more here.

NEW awareness campaign on D&I

Within the framework of the European Diversity Month 2022, Fondazione Sodalitas has launched an awareness campaign aimed at collecting people’s stories about the meaning of diversity and the way in which individuals and companies can put it into practice. The campaign will be conducted through the testimonies of the member companies of Fondazione Sodalitas and it will be based on videos where people can share their experiences, providing useful and interesting insights on D&I.

Webinar on the opportunities for the work placement of people with disabilities

On 26th May, Fondazione Sodalitas and the Province of Varese will hold a webinar for companies operating in the province aimed at outlining the opportunities of fulfilling the obligations to hire workers with disabilities. At the event, experts will analyse the current legislation on this matter.
