What Is Drive+?

Drive+ is the platform where automotive Tier-1 suppliers and supplier associations can engage in a systematic dialogue with Drive Sustainability members about common sustainability challenges and find joint solutions.

Ultimately, Drive+ helps suppliers to meet Drive Sustainability expectations and cascade them into their own supply chain.

Why This Matters Now

The regulatory landscape for sustainability is shifting quickly, and OEM expectations are also evolving just as fast. This creates pressure on automotive suppliers to keep pace, interpret requirements correctly, and align with their customers' needs.

The Drive+ platform gives Tier‑1 suppliers and supplier associations a direct line of communication with Drive Sustainability members, ensuring both sides understand each other’s challenges and priorities.

Drive+ also provides first‑hand updates on the SAQ developed and maintained by Drive Sustainability, helping suppliers prepare for future revisions. As users of the SAQ platform, Drive+ members can provide direct feedback and suggest features to help them complete the questionnaire.

The Challenge

Implementing sustainable supply chains in the automotive sector requires the collaborative efforts of all the actors involved to:

Address sustainability expectations.

Adopt methods and tools for due diligence throughout the supply chain.

Learn from each other.

Drive Sustainability wants to accelerate this process by working closely with Tier-1 suppliers and supplier associations. For this reason, the leading automotive partnership of 18 Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) launched Drive+.

What Drive+ Enables

Drive+ membership gives suppliers the access, tools, and knowledge to move sustainability from commitment to practice.

  1. Provide Feedback on the SAQ and propose enhancements to the platform.

  2. Build capacity on sustainability topics.

  3. Spread sustainability culture in the organisation.

  4. Get first-hand information on OEMs sustainability strategy.

  5. Collaborate with OEMs in shaping the sustainability agenda.

  6.  Promote alignment on sustainability requirements.
