On 29th April, the European Commission will kick off the European Diversity Month 2022. CSR Europe is calling on companies and organisations of our network to join forces with us and the European Commission to shine a spotlight on the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace and in society by organising events and activities throughout May.

This year’s theme is building bridges between organisations and areas of inclusion and diversity policy, including race, gender, and age.

WHAT WE WILL DO

At the opening event on 29th April, Seti Doli Makola, Talent Expert at AXA, will participate in the panel discussion “Building bridges – together for a better future” (10:00-10:55 CET) and share her experience in Business Uniting Talents 2030, the Belgian pilot project led by CSR Europe and aimed at fostering ethnic diversity and inclusion in Belgium.

Building upon the learnings and tools developed in the Belgian pilot project, CSR Europe will continue this journey with the launch of a European Collaborative Platform. On the 10th of May, we will present the set-up of the platform and our 2-year plan to advance on and promote cultural inclusion and diversity in the workplace.

Companies that want to lead and engage in diversity and inclusion are invited to attend the event. Register now.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

The European Commission has made available the following material for companies that would like to join the European Diversity Month by organising diversity activities, promoting diversity in the workplace, and celebrating European Diversity Month on social media:

If your company wishes to make a public commitment to promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace, it can sign the European Diversity Charter. Charters are organised at national level, with a Charter per country. Together they have over 12.800 signatories, including private and public organisations, NGOs, trade unions, and covering 16 million employees.
