CSR Ukraine Launches “Brave Ukrainian Business” Media Project

CSR Ukraine - the non-profit organization working with more than 120 companies in Ukraine to advance sustainability and social responsibility - has recently launched the “Brave Ukrainian Business” media project with the support of Global Giving.

The project aims to showcase the incredible corporate social responsibility of Ukrainian businesses in times of war. Through the stories of small, medium, and large businesses, CSR Ukraine wants to show the courage and responsibility of Ukrainian companies and reveal:

  • the work of companies before and after the invasion of Russia

  • the challenges that businesses are currently facing

  • security staff

  • top advice for small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine, as well as international companies

  • responsibility for relations with employees, the community, the army

  • involvement of SEO in volunteer projects

  • review of strategy and losses on the economic front

  • the role of companies in the restoration of the country

The “Brave Ukrainian Business” project is grateful to all companies that work, help, and have a clear position during Russia's war against Ukraine and calls upon the international community to keep on supporting Ukraine.

Cooperation in joint projects, recourse to the services of Ukrainian companies, and collaborative management of business affairs is one of the best possible contributions to help Ukrainian business.

With the war state, mobilization, and forced relocation of businesses and teams, the IT industry of Ukraine in the 1st quarter of 2022 provided a record $2 billion in export revenues — 28% more than last year ($1.44 billion).

Before the full-scale offensive of Russia, the IT industry took third place in terms of the growth rate of export turnover, after the agro-industrial complex and metallurgy. At the same time, at the beginning of February 2022, the IT industry reached the highest monthly export figure in the history of the Ukrainian IT market — $839 million, which is 43% more than in the same period of 2021 ($480 million).
