Open to Carriers of Responsible Trucking Members

This webinar is part of the capacity-building sessions of the Responsible Trucking Platform and will focus on carrier working conditions and human rights due diligence in the road transport sector.

Open to carriers of Responsible Trucking members, the session will build on the findings of the 2025 Spot Check Tool (SCT) monitoring cycle to provide a clearer understanding of the sector’s strongest areas, key challenges and human rights-related risks. The webinar aims to support carriers in identifying opportunities to strengthen working conditions, improve driver retention and enhance human rights due diligence practices.

The session will present the key findings of the 2025 SCT cycle, with a particular focus on wages and income, working time and grievance mechanisms. It will highlight areas where the sector is performing well, while exploring key risks and challenges and discussing concrete recommendations and best practices to address them. Participants will also receive an overview of the Responsible Trucking initiative and the SCT methodology, including information on the upcoming 2026 monitoring cycle.
