The European Commission published the Guidelines on the EU Forced Labour Regulation (FLR) on 14 June 2026, providing practical guidance to economic operators, competent authorities, customs authorities and other stakeholders on the implementation of the Regulation. The Guidelines address key aspects of the FLR, including its scope, investigative process, enforcement and penalties, due diligence in relation to forced labour, and methods for submitting information on potential violations.
The EU Forced Labour Regulation will apply from 14 December 2027, giving companies time to use these tools and prepare for the FLR implementation.
This webinar will explore what the Regulation and the new Guidelines mean for business in practice. Bringing together EU policymakers and corporate representatives, the discussion will explore the practical implications of the key measures introduced for companies.
