Transparent, reliable, and target-oriented reporting practices are crucial to hold companies accountable for their impact on people and the planet, and to guide them towards more sustainable business practices. Today, the European sustainability reporting landscape is rapidly evolving, and new initiatives, like the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and EU Sustainability Reporting Standards, are laying the foundation for a solid and comparable reporting practices in Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) disclosure.

The European SDG Roundtable on “The Future of Corporate Sustainability Reporting”, taking place online on 11 October at 14:00 CET, will bring together European policymakers and leading companies to:

  • Discuss what future-proof disclosure looks like.

  • Explore the strengths & weaknesses of current corporate reporting.

  • Discover best practices and landmark cases of ESG disclosure.


Guest speakers include Hakan Lucius, Head of Corporate Responsibility and Civil Society Division of the European Investment Bank; Srinivasa Kumar Yerchuru, Vice President of the BFSI Industry Advisory of Tata Consulting Services; Giulia Genuardi, Head of Sustainability Planning, Performance Management, and Human Rights of Enel; Maria Alexiou, Member of Board of CSR Europe and Senior ESG Advisor of Titan Cement.

The Roundtable is part of the European SDG Summit 2021, taking place online from 11-14 October. The Summit will bring together 5000+ Sustainability Leaders in 4 High-Level plenaries and 26 European and National SDG Roundtables to accelerate the journey towards climate neutrality and the adoption of an inclusive approach to the green and digital transition. The event is open and free for everyone.
