The Summit

European industry is entering a new phase of the sustainability transition. The question is no longer whether sustainability matters, but how fast companies can turn it into resilience, advantage, and value.

The European Sustainable Industry Summit 2026 is where that work happens. Two days of practitioner-led sessions, peer exchange, and direct dialogue between business leaders, investors, and EU policymakers.

The Summit brings together senior leaders from across functions, sustainability, operations, supply chain, commercial strategy, and finance, to work through the practical questions that matter most right now.

Programme Overview

The Summit is built around two focused days, each addressing a different dimension of how sustainability creates business value. Each day moves from a high-level plenary to practitioner-led Learning Labs and Leadership Roundtables, where you choose the sessions most relevant to your work.

  • Day 1 focuses on how companies build industrial resilience through smarter resource and supply chain strategy.

Sessions cover circular business models, resource efficiency, and value chain partnerships. Participants examine how to turn resource challenges into drivers of innovation and long-term business value.

Learning Labs run in two rounds across the afternoon. Choose two topics from eight options, including:

    • ESG integration and voluntary adoption in non-EU supply chains

    • Sustainability, competitiveness, and value creation

    • Breaking the barriers to circularity, and more

Leadership Roundtables bring senior leaders together for peer discussion on:

    • Local value chain creation and responsible materials sourcing

    • Circularity in Europe's industrial supply chains

    • Water stewardship: creating value for business and communities

The day closes with Networking Cocktails and an invitation-only Dinner Conversation.

  • Day 2 focuses on how sustainability connects to markets, customers, and capital.

Through discussions on evolving customer demand, investment trends, and financial incentives, participants explore how policy ambition can translate into tangible market outcomes.

The day opens with the European CSO Network Breakfast, a closed session for Chief Sustainability Officers.

Leadership Roundtables in the morning cover:

    • Sustainable transition and access to capital: dialogue between corporates, investors, and impact players

    • Boosting customer demand for sustainable products

    • Sustainability around the globe, with international delegations

The afternoon includes closed network meetings for our National Partner Organisations, and the Drive Sustainability and Responsible Trucking Platforms.
