New EU Masterclass Series to Decode Upcoming Sustainability Directives

 
  • The series will focus on CSRD and ESRS & opportunities for B2B collaboration; value chain transparency & traceability in the deforestation & forced labour regulations; the key figures driving the Sustainability Agenda in the new EU Commission.

 
 
 

In 2024, CSR Europe is launching a new EU masterclass series to provide in-depth insights into crucial aspects of the corporate sustainability legislative landscape, catering to both members and non-members alike. The series, composed of 4 online events, is catered to sustainability officers, procurement officers, public affairs managers, and CSR managers and is strategically curated to facilitate learning and assist in strategic planning, particularly in anticipation of upcoming regulatory requirements. CSR Europe members can benefit from free, unlimited access while non-member companies can gain access to this invaluable resource only through payment.

1st Episode: CS3D & Value Chain Reporting

On 21 March 2024, CSR Europe will deep-dive into the impact of the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CS3D) on business processes and operations. The primary focus of the session is to deepen companies’ understanding of compliance strategies, particularly when it comes to value chain reporting as requested by the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

2ND Episode: Value Chain Transparency & Traceability in the Deforestation & Forced Labour Regulations

The second masterclass, taking place on 16 May, will focus instead on the value chain transparency and traceability requirements under the Deforestation and Forced Labour Regulations. Companies will have the opportunity to gain practical insights into the implementation of compliance strategies.

3RD Episode: Opportunities for B2B Collaboration in the CSRD & ESRS

On 3rd October, join CSR Europe in this masterclass dedicated to understanding the impact of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards on Small and Medium Enterprises. Part of the session will also be dedicated to share insights into sector-agnostic European Sustainability Reporting Standards, set to be introduced by July 2023.

4th Episode: Decoding the Next European Commission (2024-2029)

In the aftermath of the June European election, the European Union is poised for a significant shift in leadership. CSR Europe’s masterclass series will wrap up on 11 December with a session dedicated to unveil the composition of the new Commission and its strategic priorities for 2024-2029.
