CSR Europe Elects New Chair and Vice Chair of the Board of Directors
CSR Europe is pleased to announce the election of Monica Perez Lobo, Vice President Sustainability at Toyota Motor Europe, as the new Chair of the Board of Directors, and Katarin Wagner, Executive Director of Econsense, as Vice Chair.
The elections took place during CSR Europe’s Board meeting on 9–10 September 2025. Together, Monica and Katarin bring deep expertise and a strong commitment to advancing sustainability as a driver of business resilience, innovation, and long-term value creation.
CSR Europe warmly thanks Filippo Bettini (Pirelli), outgoing Chair, for his outstanding leadership and dedication. Under his chairmanship, CSR Europe expanded its policy influence, strengthened collaborative platforms, and navigated a fast-changing regulatory landscape.
“I am honoured to take on this role at such a pivotal time for Europe’s sustainability transition. Together with CSR Europe’s members, we will work to ensure that sustainability is not only about compliance, but about leadership, competitiveness, and resilience,” said Monica Perez Lobo.
“As Vice Chair, I look forward to continuing the strong collaboration between the National Partner Network, the member companies, policymakers, and civil society. Our aim is to make Europe’s sustainability agenda truly work in practice and to create positive impact through enhanced collaboration,” added Katarin Wagner.
As CSR Europe looks ahead, the European Sustainable Industry Summit on 23–24 October 2025 in Mechelen will serve as the network’s flagship moment to gather business, policymakers, and civil society around a shared agenda. The Summit will spotlight how companies are putting sustainability into practice—moving from compliance to leadership—and provide a platform for co-creating the next phase of industry transformation.
