On 20th May, for the seventh consecutive year, Luxembourg will celebrate Diversity Day Lëtzebuerg, bringing together companies, public organisations, and non-profit organisations with the common aim of promoting diversity.

May is the European Diversity Month aimed at raising awareness of the importance of diversity and inclusion in our workplaces and society throughout the whole European Union.

“Let’s all take a bolder stand for diversity and act about it. Let’s show our commitment to equality and this May 2021 celebrate the European Diversity Month together. With more diverse workplaces, we will create a fairer and more equal Europe for all.”

Helena Dalli, EU Commissioner for Equality

In Luxembourg, any organization on the national territory can join Diversity Day. To participate, the organization has to define an action theme, preferably directly or indirectly related to the organization's core business, and submit it to the Diversity Charter. The actions carried out by the organizations are all listed on the Diversity Charter website

IMS Luxembourg organized its #DiversityDay21 preparation workshop in March. With more than 90 participants from Luxembourg companies and organizations, this online event allowed for collective reflection on the actions to be taken for the next national diversity day. A new action kit for the Diversity Day was shared with all participants.
