  • CSR Europe is inviting its National Partner Organisations to support the creation of new collaborative platforms between companies and their value chain peers to address and overcome their key sustainability challenges.

  • Benefits of participation include additional financial income, access to CSR Europe activities, best practices, enhanced visibility, and sustainability leadership.

Collaborative platforms are partnerships in which companies work together with their sectors, value chain peers, and other relevant stakeholders to address a common and specific sustainability challenge.

CSR Europe has been successfully supporting businesses in building impactful collaborative platforms for years. Examples include Drive Sustainability in the automotive sector and Responsible Trucking in the logistics sector. In the tire industry, we supported the creation of the Global Platform for Sustainable Natural Rubber.

To build back better economies that are productive, sustainable, and inclusive, CSR Europe is inviting its National Partner Organisations to join the promotion of existing collaborative platforms and/or build new ones in 5 steps:

  1. DEFINITION OF THE CHALLENGE

The NPO will gather inputs from companies for Stakeholder Mapping through One-to-One Calls.

  2. ENGAGEMENT WITH LEAD COMPANIES AND PARTNERS

We develop together a first concept of the collaborative platform, with the possibility of one-to-one calls and webinars on the selected challenge.

  3. PARTNERSHIP BUILDING

We start developing the platform’s strategy, setting a common direction with clear deliverables.

  4. PLATFORM CREATION

At this stage, we prepare an operational plan & business plan.

  5. LAUNCH OF THE PLATFORM

We formalize a contractual agreement relying on systematic interactions with platform partners based on the Action Plan.

What’s in it for the NPOs who engage in the creation of collaborative platforms?

  1. ACCESS TO CSR EUROPE’S ACTIVITIES:

The members of the NPO will be able to attend webinars and workshops of ongoing collaborative platforms even if they are not CSR Europe's members. This offer is free in the incubation phase of a platform (step 1-4).

  2. ACCESS TO BEST PRACTICES:

Your members will have access to practical, sustainable solutions applicable to their own context.

To enter the implementation phase (step 5), companies – members and non-members of CSR Europe – will contribute with the same fee.

If you, as NPO, want to initiate and develop with CSR Europe a new collaborative platform involving your members, you will additionally benefit from:

  3. ADDITIONAL FINANCIAL INCOME for the work you do in the delivery of the Collaborative Platform

  4. VISIBILITY at the national and international level

  5. ENHANCED LEADERSHIP in the Sustainability Agenda
