How to Deal with COVID-19: GRACE’s 3 C’s

In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, our National Partner Organisation GRACE, has postponed all public events and has team working from home, supporting its 174 associate members.

GRACE has also redefined its modus operandi and activities plan, according the their “3 C’s”.

1.      Coporate: supporting their associate members, by sharing their good practices on a daily basis.

2.      Colaboradores or employees: providing several free webinars and certified training to all our associates’ employees.

3.      Community: adapting the volunteering program GIRO 2.0  and development of a series of free webinars for social economy organizations, called the “Pro bono Hour”.

In addition to the 3 C’s, a fourth element was introduced: the Portal EstamosON, a government portal with official information on Portugal’s response to Covid-19.

GRACE will also be launching a digital “Café com Tema” or “Coffee with a Theme” initiative, dedicated to facilitate conversation with members’ HR Management Departments.

Like GRACE, many of our National Partner Organisations continue to go beyond the ordinary to support their members in these times of crisis.

But what comes next? Now, as the COVID-19 lockdown measures are slowly starting to ease, there is an urgency for togetherness: for enterprises, industry federations, policymakers, and civil society organisations to collaborate and build back better. How?  CSR Europe will engage its NPOs to transform the CEOs Call into a big action under the umbrella of a European Pact for Sustainable Industry.
