EU Upcoming Events - September

European Mobility Week

The European Mobility Week is the European Commission’s flagship awareness-raising campaign on sustainable urban mobility. It encourages behavioural change in favour of active mobility, public transport, and other clean, intelligent transport solutions.

This year’s theme, ‘Better connections’, seeks to highlight and foster synergies between people and places that are offering their expertise, creativity, and dedication to raising awareness about sustainable mobility and promoting behavioural change in favour of active mobility, in addition to reaching out and making connections between existing groups and new audiences.

The five pillars of this year’s event are:

  1. People

  2. Places

  3. Packages

  4. Planning

  5. Policy

Registration

Towns and cities are warmly invited to participate in European Mobility Week but only the official local authority of the participating town or city may register on behalf of that city.
