Epson Earns a Platinum Rating for Sustainability from EcoVadis

On October 27, Seiko Epson Corporation has earned a platinum rating for sustainability from France-based EcoVadis. The platinum rating was awarded in recognition of Epson's global corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. The EcoVadis assessment focuses on four themes: the environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Epson received an "Outstanding" (the highest score) for the environment, as well as high scores for sustainable procurement, labour and human rights, and ethics, putting it in the top 1% in the computer and peripherals manufacturing industry.

CSR Europe is working together with its network of members and partners in the community of practice “Beyond Due Diligence” to embed sustainability at the heart business operations.
