European CSO Network to Launch First Position Paper at 2025 Summit
At CSR Europe, collaboration among sustainability practitioners is at the heart of driving meaningful change. Through the European CSO Network, we have built an active space for learning, peer exchange, and strategic engagement with EU policymakers—empowering Chief Sustainability Officers (CSOs) to help shape the future of sustainable business in Europe.
The European CSO Network has, in just one year, established itself as a trusted dialogue partner for institutions including the European Commission, EFRAG, and the European Parliament. By providing concrete, actionable recommendations, the network contributes to improving the quality and relevance of EU sustainability regulation—aligning it more closely with business realities and positioning sustainability as a source of competitive advantage.
The upcoming June 24 meeting, taking place as part of the European Sustainable Industry Summit 2025, marks a key milestone: the release of the CSO Network’s first Position Paper. The paper will reflect CSOs perspectives on the European Commission’s Omnibus proposal and offers suggestions for fostering a more workable regulatory environment.
