Context

Today, corporate sustainability is no longer merely voluntary or a matter of reputation; it is increasingly becoming a lever for strategic and competitive development. Companies that choose to structurally integrate sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) into their strategy, turning it into a market positioning tool are continuing to pursue a virtuous conduct. They believe in creating shared value for a more resilient, prosperous, and just future.

However, this is by no means a given in a world fraught with skepticism and setbacks, where the social dimension is increasingly vulnerable and globalization shapes wide, heterogeneous, and fragmented value chains. It is essential to put people back at the center, making the social sphere and human rights an indispensable framework for action.

This Learning Lab aims to open a dialogue on the competitive value behind corporate choices oriented toward social sustainability, while also focusing on how it applies within the complex context of supply chains and sustainable procurement.
