This has been presented during the European CSO Network meeting in discussion with EU officials on June 24th.

Our collective effort reflects the insights of sustainability professionals across Europe and comes at a timely moment, as negotiations on the Omnibus simplification package are advancing. 
  
The paper identifies Pragmatic and Actionable Recommendations on:

> Connecting Sustainability and Competitiveness

The recommendations are part of a broader set of Business priorities for effective sustainability regulation, calling for simplification alignment, engagement, incentives and an enabling environment.

A Moment to Be Heard: Sustainability Practitioners Speak Out 
  
Together with 27 other companies, [Company Name], is happy to share the newly released paper: 
 
“A view from practitioners on Better Regulation for Stronger Implementation” 
  
Building on our respective experiences, we have been developing actionable recommendations on Sustainability Reporting (CSRD), Due Diligence (CSDDD), EU Taxonomy, Carbon Boarder Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), Claims Directives (ECD, GCD) and Public Procurement Directives, together with solutions on how to bridge the gap between policy and practice. 
 
While regulations can be perceived by companies as real benefits to accelerate and materialise their Sustainability strategies, the many difficulties in their design, implementation and the lack of supporting incentives needs to be urgently addressed. This will furthermore enhance acceptance by companies 
 
This is a first milestone. Let's join forces together with the EU to better link Sustainability and Competitiveness.
