The Responsible Trucking Platform invites companies to discover how collaboration can help address social sustainability challenges in the road transport sector and contribute to improving working conditions for truck drivers.

Open to companies interested in joining the Responsible Trucking Platform, the webinar will provide an introduction to the initiative, its objectives and activities, and the benefits of engaging in a collaborative approach to responsible road transport. It will showcase how companies from different sectors can work together to identify shared challenges, exchange best practices and develop practical solutions to improve social sustainability across the road transport supply chain.

The webinar will present the Platform’s work to establish common standards for supplier conduct and develop the Truck Transport Social Guidelines, providing companies with practical guidance to strengthen responsible sourcing and human rights due diligence (HRDD) in road transport.

The session will highlight the value of collaboration between shippers and carriers, as well as across different sectors, enabling companies to learn from one another, address common challenges and drive meaningful improvements. It will also showcase the data and insights gathered through the Platform’s activities over the years, helping companies better understand social risks in road transport and overcome transparency challenges associated with complex subcontracting structures.
