CLOSED EVENT | online | CSO network MEMBERS ONLY
Building on the outcomes and learnings from its first year of activities, the European CSO Network will shape its 2026 programme around the recommendations set out in the Better Regulation for Stronger Implementation paper, as well as the priorities of the European Commission Work Programme 2026.
Anchored in the five guiding principles outlined in the Better Regulation paper — Simplify, Align, Engage, Incentivise, and Enable — the Network will place a particular focus in 2026 on the Incentivise principle. This focus reflects the growing need to move beyond compliance and explore how sustainability can actively support innovation, competitiveness, and long-term value creation.
Throughout 2026, European CSO Network members will work together to propose and develop a more systemic approach to EU-level incentive schemes. The ultimate aim is to contribute to the creation of sustainable and competitive European ecosystems, where policy, business, and societal goals are better aligned.
