Unipol Group, the leading Italian insurance group, is the latest company to join CSR Europe’s collaborative platform Together 4 STEM. The company will work alongside platform members Huawei, Johnson & Johnson, and Toyota to bridge the gap between the STEM skills needed by the industry with those taught at school. Ultimately, Unipol Group will contribute to foster talents and jobs in the domains of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

To boost individual efforts and empower students and teachers in advancing STEM learning, Together 4 STEM released a practical Climate Education Toolkit and launched the online platform STEM@Home – a unique online repository of free online courses on a wide range of topics connected to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The materials are available in English, French, Spanish, Italian and Chinese.

In 2023, partners will focus on strengthening the collaboration between the private sector and education initiatives, involving students in rethinking an educational framework that combines the STEM skills of the 21st century with the creativity and critical thinking needed to overcome the complex challenges posed by climate change.
