RBF Poland Launches Two New Projects on Diversity

The European Diversity Month is approaching. Responsible Business Forum Poland - the coordinator of the Polish Diversity Charter - has launched two important projects to help create a multi-voiced discussion on diversity in Poland:

  • Over 50s in the labour market

  • Managing diversity in the creative industries

On 15 March, at the project’s kick-off meeting, participants discussed the demographic realities in Poland and the opportunities and challenges for people in the +50 demographic.

The working group will meet monthly to discuss the challenges and needs of employees who want to act on behalf of the +50 group. The agenda of the meetings include topics such as the recruitment process, professional development or the perception of this group in the public sphere.

The result of the group's work will be a report about the situation of people over 50 in the labour market, a set of good practices and recommendations for necessary changes.

A week later, on 21 March 2023, the Polish Diversity Charter launched another working group to discuss diversity management and inclusion in the creative industries. Experts from the areas such as: advertising, PR, research centers and academia as well as business representatives, met to discuss the challenges and responsibilities of the creative sector.

It also marked the official start of work on the supplement to the Diversity IN Check survey that will focus on the creative industry. The aim of this initiative is to conduct a pilot study on DEI in the workplace and in the products, brands and services created. The RBF Poland will develop a list of recommendations for brands, as well as for the whole creative industry, on inclusive and diversity storytelling and media content creation.
