Join Leonardo at the European Industry Days 2022
CSR Europe member Leonardo will participate in two sessions at the upcoming EU Industry Days 2022, taking place between 8-11 February.
The first session consists of the plenary “Business Case: EU Industry Investing in The Green, Digital and Resilient Economy” on 10th February (13:15 - 14:15 CET). The event will see the participation of Alessandro Profumo, President of the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD), and CEO of Leonardo. The plenary will zoom in on the opportunities, enablers, and challenges of an ongoing transformational change in the EU industry. It will provide insight into business cases to accelerate the twin transition towards a green, digital and resilient economy. Maive Rute, Deputy Director General of DG GROW at the European Commission, will moderate the dialogue between speakers, including Anna Cavazzini, European Parliament Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee Chair, Beata Daszyńska-Muzyczka, CEO Polish National Development Bank, and Rada Rodriguez, CEO Signify GmbH and President of Orgalim.
The second session, specifically organised by Leonardo, is the panel “Aerospace & Defence Ecosystem”, taking place on 11th February (10:00 - 11:00 CET). The event will focus on the need for skills already oriented towards sustainability in the Aerospace & Defense ecosystem, thanks to the cross-fertilization between industry and educational actors, and will see the participation of Renata Mele, Senior VP Sustainability at Leonardo.
The EU Industry Days is Europe’s flagship annual event, highlighting industrial frontrunners and ongoing industrial policy discussions whilst improving the knowledge base of European industry.
