Forética’s Health and Sustainability Action Group presented the report “Health and Well-being 2030: Integration in the Business Strategy. Climate Change and Health. The new Frontier of Sustainability”.

The document takes into account the implications of the COVID-19 crisis and highlights how companies in all sectors of activity can take actions that contribute to climate resilience while benefiting people's health.

The four strategic recommendations that serve as a guide for companies to establish a roadmap towards an ambitious strategy to fight climate change while respecting the health of the planet and people are:

  • Commitment.

  • Contribution.

  • Collaboration.

  • Knowledge.

The launch event was hosted in the framework of the “II Business Forum: Health and Sustainable Development (SDG 3)” and saw the participation of María Neira, Director of the Department of Public Health and Environment of the World Health Organization (WHO), Romina Boarini, Director of the Center for Well-being, Inclusion, Sustainability and Equal Opportunities (WISE) of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and Harry Kennard, expert of the specialized publication on health and climate change Lancet Countdown.
