Drive Forward the Decarbonisation of Your Supply Chain

Supply Chain Decarbonisation

  • On 23rd June, CSR Europe’s corporate members are invited to join the first of a three-part atelier aimed at offering practical support in the reduction of CO2 emissions along supply chain, in line with the Paris Agreement and the EU Green Deal.

Since the launch of the Green Deal in 2020, the European Commission has introduced several policy proposals to make Europe climate-neutral by 2050. Policies such as the climate law or sustainable product requirements under the umbrella of the New Circular Economy Action Plan will set out the criteria on how to get there.

How can businesses meet the increasing regulatory requirements and the expectations of EU policymakers?

THE CSR EUROPE ATELIER: A MEMBER-EXCLUSIVE FORMAT FOR PRACTICAL LEARNING

The road towards carbon neutrality is riddled with hurdles, including different maturity levels within industries and sectors, and global supply chains that rely on a wide variety of stakeholders to function.

Join our Atelier “Decarbonising Supply Chains” on 23rd June to:

  1. Get a clear picture of the legislative landscape.

We will provide each company with a clear overview of:

    • Current and upcoming decarbonisation frameworks, existing initiatives, standards, approaches, and their relevance for businesses.

    • Stakeholders’ expectations and (legal) requirements.

    • Latest best practices available.

  2. Get concrete ideas and solutions for the practical implementation of a carbon-neutral supply chain.

  3. Explore current collaborative efforts on decarbonisation, how they will look in the future.

This closed and interactive exchange will be complemented with exclusive insights from relevant experts. Due to the format of the event, limited virtual seats are available. Join fellow members and exchange ideas and best practices for supply chain decarbonisation, exploring how tomorrow’s collaborative cross-industry efforts could look like.

WHO SHOULD JOIN:

  • Procurement, sustainability/CSR, climate business experts (engaged in supply chain emission mapping and reduction efforts).

  • Company practitioners that want to develop a deeper understanding and skills related to climate protection, especially through exchange with peers.

  • Company practitioners who seek to engage in cross-sector initiatives and look for collaborative solutions.
