RBF Serbia Promotes CSR Professionals

With the aim of emphasizing and recognizing people who are engaged in the development and implementation of responsible and sustainable business practices, Responsible Business Forum Serbia, created the first list of CSR professionals that encompasses 58 individuals.

With this list, the initiators of the initiative wanted to draw the attention of the business community to the raising role of the CSR managers. All CSR professionals from the list have been recognized in the business and civil sector as advocates of the principle of sustainability in business and as such have been nominated by their colleagues. One of RBF Serbia’s aims is to gather and raise capacities of CSR professionals thus encouraging them to implement the best sustainability business practices.

''10 years ago, I heard about the concept of CSR and immediately became interested in this multidisciplinary field. CSR is a very broad term that can be applied in different ways and the job is extremely creative and interesting. I approach this job with a high degree of motivation and inspiration, simply because I love it. It is a great feeling when your work leads to improvements of business practices in the company in which you are employed and when you can recognize a direct positive impact on working conditions, employees, local community. Influencing positive changes in society is part of this beautiful job,'' said one of the CSR professionals from the list.

The list of "CSR professionals" was created after a public call for applications and nominations, which was announced by RBF Serbia in cooperation with Smart Kolektiv, the Represent Communications agency and Bizlife magazine in the period from April 13th to May 9 th this year. After an expert jury considered all the proposals based on the set criteria, a list of 58 CSR professionals was compiled.

RBF Serbia plans to expand the list, so the call for nominations and applications will remain open until further notice, and every year it will dedicate a campaign to the promotion of new members of this list.
