Since the implementation of the Directive on non-financial reporting and the launch of the European Action Plan on Sustainable Finance, the attention of both companies and investors on the integration of climate-related risks into company management and reporting systems has increased. On the one hand, companies are requested to manage and report on their environmental impact.
To keep members abreast of updates occurring at European level about tools and methodologies available on managing and reporting on corporate climate impact, CSR Europe and the European Investment Bank (EIB) will co-host the technical workshop "Managing Corporate Climate Impact: The role of internal carbon pricing and external disclosure". on 13 November 2019, in Paris. CSR Europe members will have the opportunity to hear from experts on how to overcome the confusion around managing and reporting on climate-related risks and how to communicate impact to interested stakeholders.
The event will take place on 13 November in Paris and will be an opportunity for you to:
- Discuss current challenges in the management and disclosure of climate-related risks
- Identify best practices
- Define next steps based on where companies require support
Participation is for CSR Europe members only. Please note that seats are limited, so registration is restricted to 1 person per organisation.
