Responsible Technological Transformation and Youth Employability

Wednesday, September 5, 2018

Forética presents a new campaign for the European project Enterprise 2020, led by the organization in Spain, with the aim of promoting and disseminating best practices in CSR.  Under the framework of "Future of Work", Forética will seek to make visible how companies are facing the technological revolution in a society in constant evolution from the point of view of sustainability.

In Enterprise 2020, the best initiatives of leading companies that incorporate technology will be collected and analysed, considering ethical principles in their decisions, as well as maximising their positive impact on the environment, generating opportunities, improving people's working conditions and promoting employability.

The campaign, which will open its call for participation in September, count on the participation of IBM, ManpowerGroup, Reale Seguros and Vodafone as partners in this initiative, and the institutional support of eleven regional governments (Aragon, Asturias, Cantabria, Castilla y León, Extremadura, Galicia, Balearic Islands, La Rioja, Madrid, Murcia and Valencia) and Cabildo de Tenerife.

Enterprise 2020 Action Lines: Future of Work

Forética will select the best business initiatives developed by themselves or in collaboration with others that respond to the future of work through two lines of action:

Responsible Technological Transformation and Pact for Youth.

Within the framework of the Responsible Technological Transformation, we are looking for business examples that show the positive social impact of incorporating technological advances (artificial intelligence, blockchain, robots, Big Data, autonomous mobility, among others), as well as examples of the resolution of ethical challenges arising from the use of these technologies.

On the other hand, the Youth Pact will collect good practices to promote the employability and talent of young people or to promote the link between education and enterprise and STEM skills.

The aim of the project will be to publicise initiatives being carried out by leading organisations, sharing proposals that have already obtained positive results and, with it, to lead the drive for business action in the future of work.

Enterprise 2020 is the only business leadership initiative recognised in the European Commission's CSR Strategy 2011-2014 for its impact potential. It was initiated by the European network CSR Europe in 2010 and aims, aligned with the European Agenda 2020, to help companies to achieve sustainable competitiveness over the next decade, to encourage intensive collaboration between companies and their stakeholders and to strengthen Europe's leadership in CSR.

All selected initiatives will be presented at a public event in early 2019 and recognised at European level.
