Bertelsmann Stiftung has published a new study entitled 'Sustainable Development Goals: Are the rich countries ready?'
The study highlights best practices for achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals over the next 15 years
World leaders from the United Nations are meeting on 25 to 27 September in New York, for the largest ever gathering of heads of state.
They will discuss the new Sustainable Development Goals to guide policy over the next 15 years.
The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals build on the Millenium Development Goals which have helped to halve child mortality in developing regions. However, unlike the Millenium Development Goals, the Sustainable Development Goals will also call for domestic reforms in the OECD nations as well.
