The Kosovo CSR Network and UNICEF recently signed the Memorandum of Understanding to co-operate towards the empowerment of the country's youth and promote volunteer work in Kosovo.
Both parties have agreed to explore ways of involving the private sector in the progressive realisation of children's rights in Kosovo, and work together to contribute in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations (UN).
The meeting between the teams of Kosovo CSR Network and UNICEF was followed by the signing ceremony of the memorandum, on which both parties have worked recently, by the Head of UNICEF Office in Kosovo, Brandao Co, and the Executive Director of Kosovo CSR Netwrok, Linda Tahiri Rukiqi.
The parties will work together to contribute to UNICEF's mission in the realisation of children rights and youth and to invest more in life and work skills of the youth of Kosovo. Through this cooperation and by undertaking a number of activities involving the private sector, the parties aim to contribute to the country's stability and prosperity in Kosovo.
