Vattenfall supports this initiative by aiming to halve the CO2 emissions of its Berlin plants within the same time frame. Vattenfall signed a climate protection agreement with the City of Berlin in 2009. Vattenfall offers expertise, investments and innovations – which include smart metering, smart grids, a virtual power plant, electric mobility and power buffers – to support a sustainable urban development.
