Brief project summary

A long-term programme of informal, fun, free activities offered for six months in cities’ parks. Delivered in partnership between Coca-Cola Great Britain and local authorities, the sessions are open to all ages and abilities. The focus is enjoyment and sociability, providing varied activities from Zumba to Tai-Chi, rounders and table-tennis.

Short activity description

From badminton to bowling, table tennis to tai chi – there were thousands of outdoor sessions available during the summer of 2014. As the weather gets colder, there will be free activities such as bootcamp fitness, football and running clubs.

Coca-Cola believes that the more you move, the happier and healthier you feel – and that’s why Coca-Cola Great Britain has made a long-term commitment to get one million people active through their programmes by 2020. They're devoting £20 million to reach this goal – their biggest investment in this kind of project to date – because they believe everyone needs to work together to help reduce inactivity and help all to live healthier more balanced lives.
