Entrepreneurship for Job Creation

An entrepreneurial mind-set becomes increasingly important in providing an answer to the unemployment issue. Also for companies, an entrepreneurial spirit of employees is a real added value.This project aims to encourage entrepreneurship and boost self-employment to provide an answer to the issue of rising unemployment in Europe (currently at 10%) and a lack of entrepreneurship compared to other developed economies.


Three work streams include: 

Learning network

Webinars and workshops will promote a comprehensive approach towards entrepreneurship promotion and education to enhance best practice sharing

Entrepreneurial Skills Pass

The Entrepreneurial Skills Pass is a new international qualification that certifies students (aged 15-19), who have had a real entrepreneurship experience, have gained the necessary knowledge, skills and competences to start a business or to be successfully employed.

Companies and organisations across Europe can endorse ESP and offer further opportunities to young people who have obtained the certificate.

Enterprise agencies

CSR Europe will connect NPO’s and companies with CSR Sweden and Jobs & Society Sweden to duplicate the Swedish model of supporting entrepreneurship

Engage in the project

Project participants will have the opportunity to bring together existing good practices from companies and associations.
Analysis and Identification of success factors
Get involved in roundtables with companies and experts to discuss the relevance and validity of the success factors identified
Share and promote of good practices and learning.
