On February 25, the European Commission launched the European Social Innovation Competition in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
The 2016 edition’s theme is ‘Integrated Futures’ and focusses on innovative products, services, technologies that support the reception and integration of refugees and migrants.
This could be in the fields of education and skills, employment and entrepreneurship, access to health care and housing, human rights and security, and social cohesion.
The competition is open to individuals, groups and organisations in the European Union and those countries that participate in the EU Horizon 2020 programme.
The three best projects will be awarded a cash prize of €50,000.
Applications are open until Friday April 8, 2016, 12:00 (CET).
