The UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGP) have encouraged and guided companies to adopt policies and due diligence processes to further respect human rights across their value chain.
In the light of this increased awareness, there is a corporate need to translate National and EU regulations and policies to feasible business operations. CSR Europe has a mission to launch Business and Human Rights training courses across Europe to support organisations in their fundamental component of good management and long-term stewardship.
With the support from our National Partner Organisations (NPOs), our previous Business and Human rights training sessions had over 70 companies who participated and gained practice knowledge through local training sessions across Europe.
Therefore, after the success of the first training round, and to meet the high demand to continue, a new round of local training sessions is starting in September and will go on until early 2019.
NPO’s from Ukraine, Czech, Greece, Turkey, Lithuania, and Luxembourg will host and facilitate local trainings on business and human rights. Members of CSR Europe can register to participate in any of these countries.
CSR Europe has reserved spots for corporate members who wish to participate in any of the affiliated NPO’s training programs across Europe. The table below provides an indication of when and where each training will be held. If you would like to register, please send an e-mail directly to the contact person.
The courses are presented in two modules: Introductory or Advanced. The NPO’s facilitate the most requested and appropriate model for their members. More information about the training perspective can be found here.
