CSR Europe launches new online tool to support SMEs engage in apprenticeships

Wednesday, May 3, 2017

CSR Europe has launched a new online assessment tool supporting SMEs in Europe to better engage in apprenticeships. Run as part of the EUTalent project, the tool is designed to assess the quality and efficiency of company apprenticeships, helping companies to gain a competitive advantage through quality improvement.

Companies who take the test receive an instant benchmark report on their performance which highlights key focus areas that can be fine-tuned in order to attract young talent and better match the company's needs with suitably skilled apprentices. Through the benchmark report, companies also gain valuable knowledge about their performance against their peers and the best-in-class practice.

The online Quality Assessment Tool is available in twelve languages (including English) and can be completed online for free.

EUTalent is a project run by CSR Europe and its national partners, engaging Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in quality apprenticeships. Implemented in 12 European countries, the project involves a variety of companies and stakeholders with the aim to support SMEs in:

  • Increasing the quantity of their apprentices
  • Improving the quality of their apprenticeships
  • Building their brand image as talent breeders
  • Contributing to policy dialogues
