The CSR Europe Board Election has kicked off end of January. The election, which aims to renew CSR Europe’s Board of Directors, will run until 18th February 2019. The results of the vote will be officially endorsed for confirmation at the General Assembly in Brussels on 6 May 2019
As a membership network with two types of members - corporate members and national partner organisations (NPOs) - who are represented in the organisation's governing bodies, this election will select the next Board of Directors that will determine the organisation's strategic direction for a tenure of three years (2019-2022).
How does the election works?
The election is reserved for CSR Europe’s network comprised of corporate partners and NPOs. Selected individuals from these organisations are internally appointed to step forward and represent their respective organisations, while others are appointed to vote.
There are two separate votes: corporate members can only vote for the corporates; NPOs can only vote for the National Partner candidates.
According to the Statutes adopted by the General Assembly:
- 12 seats are allocated to representatives from corporate members;
- 3 seats are allocated to national partner organisation members of the network;
- Only one individual is entitled to vote on behalf of your organisation.
Where are we in the election process?
