CSR Europe is embarking on its 3rd Brussels SDG Summit to take place on 6-7 May 2019. This is a unique opportunity for businesses to advocate for a European and global integrated approach towards the SDGs. With the European elections scheduled for end of May 2019, CSR Europe will launch a CEO’s call to action aimed to foster leadership and engagement.
CEOs CALL TO ACTION: LEAD & ENGAGE!
CEOs will come forward with the leader of an organisation they are engaging and partnering with on the SDGs. Together they will show their action & leadership in sustainability.
A Call to EU Policy Leaders to embrace an overarching EU SDG Strategy 2030;
A Call to Sector & Industry Leaders to pave the way for a Sustainable European Industry Alliance 2030;
A Call to Civil Society Leaders to engage with businesses to transform the global SDGs into local solutions.
The whole programme of the day will be interwoven with speeches and activities from these 3 stakeholder groups. Outlines of CSR Europe’s new 2030 Strategy will also be presented.
The CEO’s Call to Action will deserve the spotlight of the 3rd edition of the Brussels SDG Summit, to be held in partnership with the European Business Summit like previous years.
Within 2 editions, the Brussels SDG Summit has established itself as the annual reference in getting together businesses and stakeholders sharing the common language of the SDGs. At the morning plenary, the 2018 Brussels SDG Summit attracted no less than 450 participants.
