RBF Poland Launches “Diversity IN Check” to Support Polish Employers in their Strategic Approach to DEI

The “Diversity IN Check” is a survey designed to diagnose the maturity of companies/organisations in managing diversity and building an inclusive workplace.

Employers prioritising diversity management are better able to meet the challenges of the modern world by harnessing the potential of diversity to enhance innovation, contribute to their financial performance and at the same time strengthen social cohesion. The organiser of the project is the Responsible Business Forum (RBF), the coordinator of the Polish Diversity Charter.

For the third time, the RBF is providing a unique tool to verify best practices in diversity management.  In order to adapt this tool to current challenges and trends in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) fields, the project is undergoing intensive development and is changing its form.

All organisations - companies, institutions, NGOs that employ at least 10 people and carry out activities in the field of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Poland - can verify their best practices. Both large organisations and medium-sized companies are encouraged to participate. In this way, the RBF wants to give all employers the opportunity to diagnose the current state of diversity management in their organisation. The survey questionnaire is based on recognised international standards and guidelines, such as the Sustainable Development Goals, ISO 26000 and ISO 30415, GRI standards, OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.

The collection of analytical data through the questionnaire started on 10 January and will continue until 10 March 2023. Organisations can participate in the survey during this period.

Each participant of the Diversity IN Check promotes their organisation as a responsible employer and supports the dissemination of diversity management as well as the process of building inclusive organisations in Poland by sharing knowledge and best practices, thus contributing to greater social cohesion.

The results of the third edition of the survey, in the form of a list of the most advanced employers in the field of diversity management and inclusion in Poland, will be announced on 25 May during the EU Diversity Month.
