Reporting and Assurance

CSR and sustainability reporting, and related assurance, are areas that are of continuing importance for CSR practitioners as pressures for the provision of credible and measurable information on a company's CSR related activities grow.

The issue is becoming particularly topical as standards are being developed at many different levels. The reporting and assurance landscape that is becoming increasingly complex to navigate through.

CSR Europe's Reporting and Assurance working group, led by Deloitte, has engaged with CSR Europe members on key issues in this area. Companies that have actively contributed to the group include BP, Enel, Unilever, Vodafone and AccountAbility. Deloitte is currently considering options for continuation of this group.
