Multi-Business Partnerships with NGOs
Toyota Motor Europe initiated this working group in 2005 to exchange knowledge on how companies organise their corporate philanthropy activities, particularly where this is strategically related to a company’s core business activity, and to encourage participants to actively engage on this topic.
The initial contents angle was centred around identifying different models of philanthropy, with specific focus on a multi-business scenario in which a number of companies, sharing a common interest and concept of philanthropy, might work together with one or more NGOs on a long-term strategy for social investment that reaps both business and social benefits.
