Vattenfall publishes 2007 CSR report

For the fifth consecutive year Vattenfall has published a comprehensive sustainability report describing the Group’s activities during 2007. In a recent review by the Swedish business magazine Veckans Affärer, comparing the CSR reports from ten major listed companies and five state-owned companies in Sweden, Vattenfall’s report ranked as outstanding. Caisse d'Epargne launches sustainability labels for banking products

Since the beginning of June, Caisse d'Epargne's banking products have been rated using sustainable development criteria. The sustainability labeling approach is based on a method developed with the help of a panel of stakeholders comprised of representatives of WWF, Friends of the Earth, the French consumer association Testé Pour Vous (“Tested for You”) and the French environment and energy management agency ADEME. HP has launched a condensed version of its annual CSR report specifically targeted at enterprise and public sector customers. Study sheds light on ICT sector's carbon footprint

Electronics makers want incentives to green product lines

Europe's electronics and electrical engineering industries say they can make big contributions to cutting EU CO2 emissions but demand investment incentives and greater certainty on exemptions to emissions rules, EurActiv reports.
