CSR Reporting in EU/US Context

The aim of this B2B working group initiated by Manpower in 2005 was to exchange practical solutions to challenges faced by US parentage companies in implementing and reporting on global CSR strategies. This was given the diverse approaches to corporate responsibility that exist in the US and the EU, which creates challenges in ensuring that reporting adequately captures this diversity and meets different stakeholder expectations.

The initial contents angle was centred on:

  • External challenges - in particular stakeholder perceptions and influence
  • Internal challenges - effective communication and management internally of global CSR initiatives
