BITC research reveals that responsible businesses recover quicker from financial crisis

Research released by Business in the Community (BITC) on June 7 confirms for the second year running a statistically significant link between effective management and governance of environmental and social issues and financial performance. The City of Stockholm and Vattenfall Group starting biggest Swedish purchasing of electric cars

VattenfallThe joint City of Stockholm and Vattenfall Group promoted electric cars on May 25th, and received clearance for its application for a SEK 62M grant from the Swedish Energy Agency. Cambodian NGO awarded with the first Nestle Prize in Creating Shared Value

A rural development project which aims to increase the standard of living of Cambodian rural population by improving agricultural productivity and income, has been awarded with the first Nestlé Prize in Creating Shared Value (CSV). Since 2005, International Development Enterprises (IDE) Cambodia - a non-profit organisation - has developed a network of small rural entrepreneurs (Farm Business Advisors or FBAs) who sell good quality agricultural products, services and technical advice to poor farmers in order to help them improve their farming techniques and livelihood… Read more
