Coca-Cola Hellenic scoops three top prizes at the Fleet Europe Awards 2010 in Brussels

Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling CompanyCoca-Cola Hellenic has won the International Fleet Safety of the Year award – as well as being placed second and third in two other Award categories. The company, which operates its fleet of over 20,000 vehicles across 28 countries, received the accolade at the Fleet Europe Awards 2010, which took place on Thursday 18 November at a glittering gala dinner held at the Brussels Stock Exchange. MSD publishes 2009-2010 Corporate Responsibility Review

MSD and Partners make progress in commitment to end river blindness

MSDPublic health officials at the 20th Inter-American Conference on Onchocerciasis in Antigua, Guatemala, confirmed that more than one-third of all Latin Americans who ran the risk of contracting river blindness (onchocerciasis), a leading cause of preventable blindness, are no longer at risk. Officials attribute the successes in Latin America to a sustained public-private partnership led by the Carter Center that offers drug treatment and health education. The Carter Center - through its sponsorship of the Onchocerciasis Elimination Program of the Americas (OEPA) - assists national ministries of health in six affected countries in Latin America to conduct health education and distribute MSD's medicine, ivermectin (registered trademark MECTIZAN)… Read more

Total support French Fund Raising campaign

Total's French retail network is leveraging the Total Foundation's partnership with the Pasteur Institute to support the Pasteurdon fund-raising campaign for the third year in a row. This year, Total is innovating with the Plein Solidaire initiative in 1,800 service stations across France. Telefónica and Nokia launch “Green” Mobile Phone Offer

On the 29th of October, the CSR Europe National Partner Network held its final meeting of 2010. The aim of the meeting was to summarize and assess the incubation period of the Enterprise2020 initiative, discuss the way ahead and catch up on latest developments in and among the network. A new element saw the presentations of Fondazione Sodalitas and MVO Nederlands on Supply Chain Management as well as ORSE on Stakeholder Engagement. Corporate Responsibility as an exemplary driver for KPMG newly appointed managers

KPMGThe EMA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) Regional New Manager Milestone Events (NMME) were held in Berlin from the 18th to the 22nd of October and in Lisbon from the 2nd to the 5th of November 2010. A third event will take place for a second time in Berlin on the 6th of December 2010. This is a recurrent event organized annually by KPMG for its newly promoted managers from the EMA Region. Waitrose chief to chair Business in the Community, UK

Business in the Community (BITC) is delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Price, managing director of Waitrose, as its new chairman.
