Workshop on Implementing Grievance Mechanisms into Business Operations held in Berlin
On 28 June, CSR Europe and project leaders econsense, Arcelor Mittal, HP, Hitachi and Volkswagen held a workshop on Grievance Mechanisms into Business Operations. 'Towards age friendly businesses: Adapted HR management; Innovative inclusive products and services’ workshop hosted in London
In the framework of the Enterprise 2020 collaborative project 'the business contribution to active ageing', co-lead by GDF Suez and Intel as well as AGE Platform Europe and Seniosphere, a workshop on ‘Adapted HR management; Innovative inclusive products and services’ was organised on July 5th. Report on the final results of the collaborative project on 'Financial Capability for Europe's Youth and Pre-retirees' launched
In the framework of Enterprise 2020, CSR Europe, Citi Foundation and Money Advice Service, with the support of other stakeholders, launch the final results of the collaborative project on Financial Capability for Europe´s Youth and Pre-retirees. Empowering people to better plan their financial futures is an important challenge for businesses, governments and the EU. The project aimed to identify the key financial capability issues facing young people and those approaching retirement. 17 of CSR Europe's members ranked in top 50 of best global green brands
17 of CSR Europe's members were nominated in a new report by Interbrand - aimed at identifying global brands that have had the most success in marketing thier sustainability efforts and establishing a green reputation.Of the 50 corproate organisations recognised, CSR Europe is pleased to announce that 10 of our members were ranked in the top 20, and a further 7 ranked in the overall top 50. CSR Europe bids farewell to Colleen M. Fletcher, Membership and Stakeholder Relations Director
CSR Europe would like to say a big thank you to Colleen M. Fletcher for her excellent leadership and dedicated support to the Membership and Stakeholder Relations team and the CSR Europe network as a whole. Colleen joined CSR Europe in July 2008 and has been instrumental in setting the strategic direction for the organisation and leaves a great legacy behind her. CSR Europe wishes Colleen all the very best as she moves on to new professional challenges in Europe.

BOP Collaborative Project is showcased on new international website
The Base of the Pyramid collaborative project ‘Smart, sustainable and inclusive growth at the 'Base of the Pyramid’ was recently presented on a website launched at Rio+20. The website, www.criticalfriendsinternational.com, is an online resource center dedicated to mapping and tracking the diversity of corporate stakeholder engagement practices, in all their traditional but also in their most innovative forms. The "European collaborative project on Smart, Sustainable and Inclusive Growth at the Base of the Pyramid" is a collaborative project, which seeks to establish itself as a platform for European knowledge and networking between businesses and stakeholders involved in BoP programs across various sectors… Read more

Business and Human Rights Developments at the EU and UN
