CSR Europe to showcase Enterprise 2020 Collaborative Project on BoP at Global Summit
CSR Europe's Executive Director, Stefan Crets, will be attending next weeks B4E Global Summit in Berlin to showcase CSR Europe's Enterprise 2020 collaborative project on inclusive business models. The project, 'Smart, sustainable and inclusive growth at the 'Base of the Pyramid' (BoP)' ties into the overall theme of this year's summit; 'Inclusive Business for Development - Advancing the Millienium Development Goals, providing universal access to quality of life and decent work.'
Stefan Crets will offer his remarks on the highlights of CSR Europe's collaborative project on inclusive business, which started in 2012, of which includes engagement of the European Commission toward policy recommendations on the future EU policy on business and development. He will also draw upon CSR Europe's expectations for Rio+20 in the area of poverty alleviation and social development.
The B4E summit is recognised as the world's leading international conference on sustainable development. The summit, which takes place between 22/23 May in Berlin, will bring together world leaders, CEOs, senior executives and industry experts to share ideas and commit to solutions, which address the most urgent environmental challenges facing the world today.
