CSR Europe hosts Webinar on Sustainable Supply Chains

On 10 May, CSR Europe hosted a webinar on Addressing Conflict Minerals in Global Supply Chains. The webinar gave participants the opportunity to gain a critical understanding of the issue of conflict minerals and the work of the European External Action Service (EEAS) and the European Commission in that area, as well as the framework of the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict- Affected and High-Risk Areas. Participants were given the opportunity to learn from the experience of companies in the automotive (AIAG), chemical (BASF) and ICT (HP) sectors, as well as the international dimension of the issue in China (China WTO Tribune).
