Webinar series on Active Ageing, March – April 2012

In the framework of the Enterprise 2020 collaborative project “the business contribution to active ageing”, co-lead by GDF Suez and Intel as well as AGE Platform Europe, a first in a series of four webinars on active ageing took place on March 28th on the topic of “skills retention and development”. Experts from the European Foundation for Living and Working Conditions as well as Hazelheartwood Consultancy summarised the main business risks and opportunities associated to stereotypes/misconceptions on older workers, motivation and skills transfer. Best practices from BASF, France Telecom Orange as well as IBM were presented. Minutes to be ready soon. 23 representatives from 13 companies and 3 NPOs participated to the webinar. The next webinar, co-organised with AGE UK and SenioSphere, will focus on “product and service development for senior consumers” and will take place on April 18th at 10am CET.
