CSR Europe Members highlight the importance of the business contribution to Active Ageing at European conference

As communicated in the Newsbundle of the 26th of January, the European Year of Active Ageing was officially launched on January 18th-19th in Copenhagen, under the Danish Presidency of the EU. During the event, in an interview for Euronews, Anne-Marie Muntz, Director of Group Public Affairs at Randstad, emphasized the benefits of concentrating on the ageing workforce “older workers are more balanced, less ill, and more productive, actually because of their life experience.” Additionally, Jacques Spelkens, CSR Coordinator for Belgium at GDF-Suez, presented active ageing as “another way for businesses to look at recruitment”.
